Have you ever climbed on a 23-foot penguin or rode a slide within a 26-foot kangaroo? Make sure to check out this whimsical park on a warm day! As a special education teacher, my favorite was the inclusive communication board! Way to go KC Parks and Recreation!

 

 

 

 

LEGOLAND Discovery Center

Everything is awesome at LegoLand! From hands-on lego building exhibits to an indoor playground, 4D movie, two rides, and jaw-dropping displays, LegoLand is a must!

 

 

 

 

Sea Life Aquarium

Have a fin-tastic time exploring stingrays, turtles, sharks, jellyfish, seahorses, and more! This interactive aquarium is right next door to LegoLand. Grab your combo tickets for a loaded day of fun!

Where else can you get a train to deliver an old fashion hamburger? Fritz! Make sure to check out this one-of-a-kind diner.

 


 

Deanna Rose Farmstead

Pack snacks and sunscreen! You can spend hours exploring the farmstead– farm animals, feed goats, fishing, mining, playgrounds, and even learn a little history. This inexpensive spot is a great day trip.
