This post is sponsored by the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra

St. Louis Symphony Family Concerts are BACK for the 2019/2020 season! These concerts are geared towards the youngest members of your family who may or may not yet be familiar with music. Come show them the wonder that is the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra in a relaxed and educational environment!

All concerts begin at 3pm, but be sure to arrive at 2pm to enjoy the Instrument Playground! What’s that, you say?? Various instruments, grouped by musical family, are placed around Powell Hall and demonstrated by various members of the Symphony Volunteer Association. Attendees can explore, touch and play instruments of the orchestra!

Here’s the rundown of this year’s Family Concerts:

Music Without Boundaries – October 6

The SLSO is partnering with the Magic House to present this musical selection that reflects the global language of music. Join the orchestra as they travel throughout the world, showcasing different styles of music from various cultures.  You’re sure to recognize some of these tunes!

Peter and the Wolf

They reside in Rock Hill. In her “spare” time, you can find her teaching French courses at the Alliance Française of St. Louis. 1. World of Water sounds like a perfect way to keep the excitement over the impending aquarium strong! We can not WAIT until it opens!
