Simple Strawberry Sundae

We’re kicking it off with a classic, the strawberry sundae. While traditionally you’d make this sundae with vanilla ice cream and a strawberry sauce, we made ours with Hudsonville’s Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream as our base, and my tiny sous chef chose her toppings!

Ice Cream S’more Sandwich

Another summertime classic made better with ice cream: the s’more! We used graham crackers, milk chocolate frosting, and marshmallow fluff frosting. You could easily use vanilla here, but we chose to live large and subbed in one of my family’s very favorite flavors: Hudsonville’s Traverse City Cherry Fudge. Why is it such a favorite? Amaretto ice cream with thick fudge ripples and sweet cherry chunks … it’s pretty unbelievable.

Ingredients:

  • Ice cream of choice
  • Milk chocolate frosting
  • Marshmallow fluff or fluff frosting
  • Graham crackers

Directions:

Break your graham cracker into two squares and spread the desired amount of milk chocolate frosting on one square and the desired amount of marshmallow fluff on the other square. Scoop a small scoop of ice cream onto one square and press your two squares together. Enjoy!

Double Chocolate Coffee Milkshake

Last but certainly not least, we are looking out for you, mama! As the creator of summertime magic, you deserve a caffeinated treat that you don’t have to share. We used Hudsonville’s Classic Chocolate Ice Cream here for an extra rich mocha flavor.

Recipe inspired by Martha’s Baking Addiction.

  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee granules
