Butterfly Haven
Butterfly Haven serves children impacted by Foster Care and families who have experienced a Crisis situation. We currently serve families within the St. Louis metropolitan area, St. Charles County, Lincoln County, Franklin County, and Jefferson County.
When Butterfly Haven is notified of a child who is transitioning to foster care, a care bundle is assembled for that specific child that includes things like toiletries, coloring books, a blanket, pajamas, and other things depending on the age of the child.
Butterfly Haven fills an important need in the community by equipping foster families so they can focus on the children in their care.

Care STL Health
CareSTL Health’s Outreach Department employs Eligibility Enrollment Specialists who are trained Certified Application Counselors to educate and enroll patients in a health insurance plan including Medicaid, Medicare, Gateway to Better Health and the Affordable Care Act. Our enrollment specialists educate patients about available health insurance plans that will accommodate the individual’s healthcare and financial needs.
CareSTL Health offers a sliding fee program to help reduce barriers to access to healthcare services for our patients. The sliding fee scale applies to patients without health insurance who also do not qualify for Medicaid. The sliding fee scale is based on household size and the poverty guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Connecting Kids to Coverage: Legal Aid
The Connecting Kids to Coverage Program assists families, children, and pregnant women who are eligible for Missouri’s family Medicaid programs.Connecting Kids to Coverage also works with school nurses, social workers, homeless enrollment, and community partners to assist children and families that need help applying for MO HealthNet coverage.

American Cancer Society: Road to Recovery
Every day thousands of cancer patients need a ride to treatment, but some may not have a way to get there. The American Cancer Society Road To Recovery program provides transportation to and from treatment for people with cancer who do not have a ride or are unable to drive themselves.
The Bennett Project
Our mission is to provide support for children with pediatric cancer and their families during and following treatment.
The Bennett Project supports families throughout the St. Louis region with a variety of programming, including:
– direct financial support to families in treatment
– annual toy and gift card drive for kids undergoing treatment
– quarterly family social events
– birthday club for patients and their siblings
-extracurricular activity grants for patients and their siblings

Camp Rainbow
The Camp Rainbow Foundation provides free camp experiences and programs for children and families affected by childhood cancer and blood-related diseases.

- Provide a residential camping experience for area children with congenital or acquired heart defects.
- Provide a safe environment where campers will learn they are not alone in living with heart disease.
- Create an environment where it is normal to be sick, tired, have scars and take medication.

Rainbows for Kids

St. Louis Crisis Nursery
The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery provides a short-term, safe haven for 5,000 children a year, birth through age 12, whose families face an emergency caused by illness, homelessness, domestic violence or overwhelming parental stress.
All services are completely FREE and VOLUNTARY.

The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery provides care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at five nurseries and support for families at ten Outreach Centers throughout St. Louis, St. Charles, Southern Illinois and surrounding regions.
