We recently were invited to check out The St. Louis Wheel, the newest attraction to open in downtown’s Union Station.

This 200-foot high observation wheel features 42 fully enclosed, climate controlled gondolas that seat up to six adults each.  Visitors take three to four rotations over the St. Louis skyline during the 15 minute ride.  Open every day of the year, it could be fun to start a new tradition and see the entire city the first day of every New Year, or Christmas Eve!

Tickets are $15 for adults, and $10 for children. Group discounts available, contact The St. Louis Wheel for more information. You can also have a party at The Wheel which includes food and mini golf options.

Hours vary based on day of the week and time of the year.

Not only is The Wheel the sole attraction at the newly refreshed Union Station, guests can also enjoy a round of mini-golf, a classic carousel and coming this winter, a ropes course, mirror maze and the new St. Louis Aquarium.

Set to open winter of 2019, the St. Louis Aquarium will feature nearly 13,000 animals (set to arrive soon!) and a 250,000 gallon shark tank.

New restaurant options are also popping up in Union Station!  The St. Louis Union Station Soda Fountain will have an unparalleled array of sweet treats, the 1894 Cafe, and the TrainShed Restaurant are sure to please any train lover.

So mark your calendars for the September 30th opening of The St. Louis Wheel! Share your pictures with us, we can’t wait to see them!

They moved in and filled their home with love, laughter and more kid things than they ever thought possible! They love visiting the many parks in St. Louis, and other attractions as a family of four, and hope that St. Louis Moms Blog can help highlight some of our favorite places in their city, all with an iced coffee in her hand! Kate's excited to share her unique experiences as a mother with others in St. Louis and hear from other moms as well.
